In March 2022 MENDELU has organized an International Week for both academics and non-academic staff. The event was named Weeks of International Teaching – Inclusive and Digital. After a long time, this event was face to face and twenty-nine participants from Poland, Jordan, Slovakia, Croatia, Thailand, Greece, Luxembourg, Latvia, Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, Nepal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Israel came to Brno. Participants had the chance to be involved in a rich program full of workshops with experts, networking, a trip to the chateau Lednice or a visit to Villa Tugendhat. International students and ESN MENDELU Brno helped to prepare an International Market where participants could taste a lot of traditional food, drinks, enjoy music and dance. During the week many of the classes were taught in English so guests also had the opportunity to attend lectures with Czech students. Moreover, a grand opening of Mendel Point 2 by the Rector was held. Furthermore, the event gave participants a unique opportunity to find out more about universities, networking and share best practices with other colleagues. Last but not least, a doctoral conference was part of the International Week were young researchers from WITEA-ID partner universities had the chance to share their experiences and scientific knowledge in a variety of scientific fields and disciplines.
